General Livestock Management

Sheep is a livestock animal for meat and milk purpose which scientific name is Ovis aries. As ruminants, sheep efficiently convert fibrous plant material into high-quality protein, making them well-suited to diverse agroecological zones, including marginal grazing lands.

A buffalo is a large ruminant animal belonging to the family Bovidae, mainly reared for milk, meat, draught power, and manure.

Cattle is a livestock animal which zoological name is Bos taurus. Zoological name of zebu cattle or indigenous cattle is Bos indicus.
